i love this picture. the contrast of mature strength and helpless innocence is beautiful. and there isn't a fawning sort of feel to this picture.

That's wonderful. Our 3rd daughter was born on Boxing Day 2003, and already she seems so big. That stage which you have captured, when babies are so small and utterly, completely helpless is amazing. It feels like they have such a strong animal instinct to seek out warmth and love... Though she is nearly 6 weeks old now, and still as helpless, the stage you have so beautifully captured just seems to pass in the blink of an eye.
